WPP MEMBERSHIP FEES FOR 2024

Juniors: N$ 315
Family: N$ 1050 (max 4 members, all additional members pay normal applicable rates)
Social Non-Rider: N$ 285 (for a family member, whom doesn't ride, but wants members voting rights at AGM, and, or for a rider who wants to participate in the NCF Road and TT Nationals, but not in the WPP Series.
Day Rider: N$ 200
Team Registration: N$ 2,625. Team registration fees need to be paid in full before the 1st race, WPP 1, 14th January 2024

HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER

Are you NEW to the Windhoek Pedal Power Road Cycling Club?

Before you start the process of registering for your 2024 WPP Membership, here are a few things you will need to have ready:

Your Medical Aid Number (if applicable)
Your Namibia Cycling Federation Number (NOTE: If you don’t have a number yet, simply follow the steps listed below. This is a once off process.)
Your Permanent Timing Tag Number (NOTE: If you don’t have a Tag yet, simply follow the steps listed below. This is a once off process.)

Step 1: Namibian Cycling Federation

NAMIBIA CYCLING FEDERATION (NamCF) NUMBER

NamCF License numbers now mandatory at the majority of cycling events in Namibia, it’s essential to secure your registration.
By obtaining your NamCF number, you’ll have access to a wide range of cycling events across the country.
NamCF numbers are permanent and do not require annual renewal.
You will need a NamCF number before you can purchase and obtain a Permanent Timing Tag.

HOW TO GET A NamCF NUMBER:

Step 1: Access the following link on the NamCF site (https://mynamcycling.com/Account/Register)

Step 2: Create and enter a Username, Password and Email address whereafter you will receive a confirmation email.

Step 3: Access the Confirmation link on the email, which will redirect you to the NamCF website to start creating your profile.

Step 4: Whilst creating your personal profile:

a) You will be prompted to select a Club Name. Select WPP.

b)Next you are required to select the type of Cycling (Road/MTB/BMX). Select Road Cycling.

c)Lastly select your relevant age category.

Step 5: You will receive a confirmation email with your NamCF License number shortly, or you can access the number from Cycling Details Tab on your profile when logged in.

Next you will have to obtain your Permanent Timing Tag and Tag number to register your 2024 WPP Membership.

Step 2: Permanent Timing Tag

HOW TO GET A PERMANENT TIMING TAG AND TAG NUMBER:

Step 1: Ensure you have registered with NamCF and have your NamCF License number ready.

Step 2: Call 081 260 1999 to schedule a suitable time for collecting your Permanent Tag.

Step 3: Collect your Permanent Timing Tag at the RaceDay Event Office in Walter Street. NOTE: You will have to make a cash payment of N$300.

Step 4: You will locate your Permanent Timing Tag number on the side of your tag. This number should be used when registering for the WPP

You are now ready to register your 2024 WPP Membership. Please note that obtaining the NamCF and Permanent Timing Tag Numbers is a once-off process.

Step 3: WPP Membership

Follow the link to register for your 2024 Membership on the Race Day Events website.

Select the CONTINUE AS A GUEST button to commence the registration process.

Links will be sent to members to register for events like the WPP Series, or Nedbank Cycle Challenge, as the online entry forms become available. Alternatively, you can also find the links on the WPP Events page as the become available.
